Clearbox Systems at Australian Space Industry Conference 2019
The Australian Space Industry Conference is reaching for the stars in 2019 as the two day event features speakers and panelists from the space industry, R&D and government. The conference will focus on opportunities for business development among the issues in the space industry and space-enabled industries.
Executive Director, Jeremy Hallett, will appear as a panelist exploring “Where will the growth come from – Australian Small-to-Medium Enterprises”. Jeremy will be joined by fellow industry representatives Shaun Wilson (Shoal Engineering Pty Ltd) and Troy McCann (Moonshoot Space Company) with the panel moderated by Dr. Tim Parsons (Delta-V).

Clearbox Systems to exhibit at MilCIS 2017
Clearbox Systems is exhibiting at MilCIS 2017, in Canberra 14-16 November.
During the show we will be demonstrating some of our offerings and talking about:
- Ensuring the ADF’s Satellite Communications provide Secure Communications with in built resilience and redundancy.
- Providing a capability edge to the ADF in C4ISR, EW and Space.
- How we, as Australian SME, closely collaborates with Defence and Primes to meet the challenges of the future.
Some of the products we will be demonstrating include:
- Jigsaw, a software platform for realtime signal processing
- Foresight, a software platform for assuring SATCOM network performance
And together with our partner, Kratos Communications, we will be demonstrating:
- Tools for ensuring uptime of critical equipment infrastructure
- Tools for protecting RF spectrum (monitoring, interference detection, signal geolocation and interference cancellation)

What will we be showcasing?
Foresight
Clearbox Systems will have a live demonstration of Foresight. On display, will be Foresight’s ability to provide scheduling, monitoring and control of 100s transportable terminals deployed anywhere on a network.
Foresight is currently being deployed into JP2008 Phase 5B1
Compass (including Profile Manager and Redundancy Manager)
Clearbox Systems will have a live demonstration of Compass, a powerful equipment monitoring and control suite. As part of the demonstration Profile Manager and Redundancy Manager will be demonstrated.
Profile Manager is a Compass software component which allows the saving and restoring of equipment settings. Redundancy Manager extends Profile Manager’s functionality to provide automated configuration and cutover of redundant equipment under control of a Compass system.
Compass and its add-on products are currently being deployed into JP2008 Phases 3F, 4 and 5A
Monics 10.5 / Monics Enterprise Manager with MN200
Monics is a mature spectrum monitoring and interference detection system. Clearbox Systems will have a demonstration of the latest version of Monics (V10.5) and the new Monics Enterpr
ise Manager.
New features include:
- Refreshed GUI
- Windows Authentication with fine-grained user access control
- Waterfall display
- Improved logging and instrument status
Also, be sure to ask us about the MN200, a low-cost hardware add-on to Monics that it extends spectrum monitoring through a deployed network, including multiple spot beams.
Spectre
Clearbox Systems’ latest product, Spectre will be demonstrated. Spectre is a high performance, scalable Analog RF to 10 GigE platform. Spectre enables both Transmit and Receive RF applications from 400MHz to 4GHz at 200MHz bandwidth with streaming to and from 10Gbit/s Ethernet.
SigX
Visit the booth to see SigX – a RF signal protection product that can be configured to automatically cancel interference in real time with no human intervention. SigX automatically detects and characterises interfering signals, then creates a cancelling signal to remove the interference and preserve the integrity of the protected link.

Foresight is capable of providing end-to-end management of satellite networks from the planning stage, through to operations, and historical trending and reports.
Foresight is currently being deployed to provide Centralised Monitoring and Control for JP2008 Phase 5B1.
Kratos Networks (formerly Newpoint Technologies) Compass Live Demonstration (including Profile Manager and Redundancy Manager):
Clearbox Systems will have a live demonstration of Compass, a powerful M&C/NMS software suite. As part of the demonstration Profile Manager and Redundancy Manager will be demonstrated.

Clearbox Systems is please to be showcasing n2, an Australian developed and manufactured product that is sold internationally.
n2 is the next generation in innovative monitoring and control solutions. n2 uses a high speed USB peripheral architecture opening up a while new world of options allowing the versatility of integrating almost any off-the-shelf USB peripheral including serial interfaces, webcams, GSM/3G modems and GPS receivers.
Clearbox Systems has also developed a number of USB peripherals for the n2 including:
