Clearbox Systems is pleased to announced a number of Executive appointments, effective immediately, in support of continued growth and expansion.
Ashleigh Langdon has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer having most recently served as Head of Programs within the business. Ashleigh joined Clearbox Systems as a project manager and immediately excelled in leading the delivery of Clearbox Systems' largest program - subsequently overseeing the delivery of all projects. Prior to joining Clearbox Systems Ashleigh held Project, Commercial and Corporate roles within Defence and Defence Industry. This appointment reflects an enduring focus on delivery and operational excellence at Clearbox Systems.
Timothy Spitzer has been appointed Chief Technology Officer having most recently
served as Technology Development Manager within the business. Tim joined Clearbox Systems many years ago as a graduate engineer and has since been responsible for the technology and architecture of the majority of Clearbox Systems product and research initiatives. This appointment reflects the significant ongoing internal and customer funded R&D programs within Clearbox Systems.
Darren Ross has been appointed Head of Engineering as well as SATCOM Lead upon his recent commencement at Clearbox Systems. Prior to joining Clearbox Systems, Darren had a distinguished 30 year career in the Royal Australian Air Force as an Electronics Engineering Officer. Darren worked predominately in the field of communications and information systems, building a wealth of experience in capability, program, project and sustainment management of Defence Systems, in particular SATCOM systems. Darren is one of a growing number of veterans being employed by Clearbox Systems. This appointment reflects a significant engineering focus in the delivery of capability at Clearbox Systems and helps to solidify careers pathways for engineering staff across Systems, Software and Hardware Engineering.
CEO Transition - Jeremy Hallett assumes leadership of Clearbox Systems as CEO & Managing Director.
These Executive appointments have been made in support of a long-planned transition from Greg Reid to Jeremy Hallett of the CEO and Managing Director roles. Greg will be remaining in an Executive role within the business for the foreseeable future and transition to supporting Jeremy in the execution of numerous strategic initiatives. Jeremy assumes the role of CEO and Managing Director after being in the business for nearly 14 years, most recently serving for the past 5 years as Executive Director.
In reflecting on the changes, Jeremy noted, "We have seen the business nearly triple in size in the last two years with anticipated 150% growth over the next 18 months. My transition to CEO and the Executive appointments I have made complement our existing foundation of technical, sustainment and delivery expertise and creates a position of strength as we look to our ongoing growth."
Greg added, "This is the right time to transition. The trust that our customers show in us across all our business lines is testament to Jeremy's efforts over this past few years and I look forward to supporting him in delivering on these expectation in our next phase of growth."
